It won't affect my coffee buying habits, since I've never patronized it. But I am glad to see an out-of-state Goliath fall to our local Davids. My caffeine dollars will always go to our Missoula-grown coffee houses.

Starbucks is a good fallback option when one is on the road and unfamiliar with the territory and whether or not the local joints are good or bad. However, this starbucks downtown will not be missed.... especially since it's within the same block as Break Espresso and just down the street from Butterfly Herbs... two of my favorite coffee joints.
