What do you think of the plea deal in the beer pong stabbing case? Add Answer

A 24-year-old Missoula man pleaded guilty on Monday to charges that he stabbed a University of Montana student at a house party last September during a dispute over the rules of a drinking game called beer pong.
Collan J. Sheppard appeared in 4th Judicial District Court and admitted to felony counts of assault with a weapon and criminal endangerment. In exchange for the guilty pleas, prosecutors agreed to dismiss a more serious charge of attempted murder. Sheppard also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief and negligent endangerment.
