Polson Buffalo Refuge Add Answer

It has been awhile since I visited the refuge. I used to go at least twice per month for the sheer joy of the wildlife and the serinity. I was there 3 weeks ago and was apalled at the condition of the ponds, the lack of wildlie(I saw 6 antelope) & the ranger's living area. What the hell happened? Where are the bison, elk, & mountain sheep? It used to be such a wonderful place to spend the day, but now it is a waste of time & money. Can someone please tell me what happened to put the refuge in such ruin.

They moved it to Moiese. Check there.

Visit at daybreak on the first Monday and Tuesday of October when the roundup occurs. You will see plenty of wildlife.
