What do you think of University of Montana president George Dennison's YouTube videos? Add Answer

UM president George Dennison is taking a page out of President Obama's playbook. He's sitting for short interviews shot, edited and with added effects and then posted to YouTube as a way to grab the attention of students. What do you think of this approach? http://www.missoulian....c002e0.html

President Dennison has found another way to reach out to students who, for the most part, are comfortable with YouTube as a communication tool. I think he and The University of Montana are still finding a way to use it meaningfully. I think if they ask for and consider student responses, they will get an idea of what's useful.

As a critique, I found the tapping on the arms of the chair distracting. The production values seemed to be consistent with some of the better stuff that appears on YouTube.
